Open Submissions

The Slice Poetry Chapbook Contest

Submit by December 31!

We’re looking for submissions that bite into themes and symbols of desire, consumption, spirituality, gender, environment, cultivation, and wildness.

We also invite our writers to push beyond these themes to find new connections and concepts that will surprise, delight, shock, and challenge us.

Up to 35 pages of poems in a 12-point font.
Submissions to The Slice are $20 per entry.
The deadline to submit is December 31, 2024 at midnight.
The winner will receive a $500 award, alongside 10 author copies and 25% of profits from book sales.
