AMANDA DIBANDO AWANJO is a Cameroonian American researcher, writer, and illustrator currently based in Connecticut. She earned a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh in Critical Cultural Studies in English and Children’s Literature, and currently spends her time thinking, drawing, and dreaming. Her work and research has been published in The Rumpus, The Black Joy Project, The Edinburgh History of Children’s Periodicals, and Critical Quarterly.
