My Lips Are Up Here
KALE HENSLEY
lo behold this loud and lousy laurel
licking trenches of nasal like laundry
lackadaisical longing has been loosed
upon us lepers lunge for pops lollying
lycanthropy is now a modern art
I miss when lizards elected losers
luck once liminal has left us bereft
lie down lover let me lick the lungs outta
you lie to me a lonesome larvae lent
a girl a loofah laced with ludicrous
listen you lug nut I no longer can
grub for love that lures but lacks smacking lips
loss like this ain’t legal it’s luminous
look my liver laden with phosphorus
